Mr. Golding is a Managing Director at Carret Asset Management. He has 45 years of experience in the investment management and financial services industries.

At Carret, he serves as a portfolio manager of equity and balanced portfolios for individuals, families, trusts and endowments. He works closely with clients on financial planning and retirement issues. Larry is a member of the firm’s Equity Investment Policy Committee. Larry is the author of our quarterly equity commentary, Carret Equity Insights.

Prior to joining Carret, he was a Managing Director and Principal of Morse, Williams & Company, a money management firm specializing in large cap and balanced portfolios. Larry began his investment career at Putnam Management Company in Boston.

Larry served as a Director and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Abbott House, a child welfare agency in Westchester County, NY, for twenty-five years. He is a past Director and Chairman of the Investment Committee of The New England Society in the City of New York, one of the oldest charitable organizations in the United States. Larry serves as Adjutant of the United States Volunteers, a Civil War living history organization, and as a Class Agent for the Roxbury Latin School.

Larry resides in Manhattan with his wife and two cats.
