Elizabeth “Betsy” Newberry is a Managing Director with over 30 years of experience in the investment management industry.

Betsy serves on Carret’s Equity Investment Policy Committee. She is a Portfolio Manager of equity and balanced portfolios for high net-worth individuals, families, and trusts.

Betsy was a Vice President of Manchester Capital Corporation until it was sold to Carret in 2002.

She began her career in Washington DC at First American Bank and then as a Portfolio Manager at Zirkin-Cutler Investments.

She is a member of the CFA Institute and New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA). She has served as Co-President of the Parents Association of Bronx High School of Science.

Betsy resides in Manhattan with her husband and two children.
