Marco Vega

Marco is the President and Chief Operarting Officer at Carret. He also serves on the firm's Executive Committee. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services and investment management industry.  In his capacity, Marco is responsible for all facets of the Firm including Carret's operations, compliance and accounting functions. His chief responsibilities include governance, strategic planning, acquisitions, capital management and oversight of operational processes and controls. Prior to joining Carret, he worked at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., Serfin Securities Inc., and Finamex Securities Inc. facilitating transactions in international equity markets for institutions and private clients. Marco serves on the Board of Advisors to Brean Capital, LLC an investment bank advising and servicing institutional clients. In addition, he serves as Director to Quadrant Management LLC., a single family office focused on private equity investing.

Marco earned an MBA and BS in Accounting from St. John’s University in New York.

Marco enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoys an active lifestyle.
