John is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Carret Asset Management. He has over 30 years of experience in Fixed Income.

John is a member of Carret’s Fixed Income Team and Investment Policy Committee. In this role, John shares in the trading and management of tax-exempt and taxable client portfolios, performs credit research, engages in new business development, and participates in all other facets of Carret's Fixed Income capabilities.

Prior to joining Carret, John was a Senior Vice President and Head of Business Development at
Ingalls & Snyder Investment Management, working to broaden the firm’s reach and visibility. Prior to joining Ingalls & Snyder, John had been a fixed income professional with more than 25 years of private client and institutional experience at Piper Jaffray & Co., JP Morgan Private Wealth Management, and Ziegler Capital Markets. John began his career in 1987 at Mabon, Nugent & Co.

John resides in New Canaan, CT with his wife and two children.
